Ground chicken sloppy joes with sautéed kale

My husband LOVED the sloppy joe, but gagged when he tried the kale. I liked it, I liked it so much I ate the leftovers for lunch the next day. Oh well, more kale for me.

Beef and Broccoli whole wheat noodles

This recipe is exactly the same as my korean style BBQ beef except instead of serving it over rice it tossed with the noodles and served with cucumber and carrot salad on top. Yum!

Puréed Beets for Baby

While cooking these beets, all I could think about was this episode of "House of Style" an old 90's fashion TV show hosted by Daisy Fuentes on MTV. On this one episode that I recall vividly I remember Todd Oldham taking an old button down shirt and using raw beets to stamp a polka dot design all over it. He then took a pair of new Doc Marten boots and cut the toes out to make "boot sandals." Oh the 90's.

Anyway my beets came out so awesome I set aside about half to make myself an awesome salad for lunch tomorrow!
