Korean style beef

This beef dish is inspired by the galbi style beef I had while I lived in Korea. I made this beef recently at a dinner party as one of two fillings for tacos, and it was irresistible to some vegetarian friends who cheated that night so that they could try it! The secret is the marinade.

Ingredients:
Marinade
1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
2tbsp sesame oil
3 cloves minced garlic
Pepper
Garlic powder
Sriacha rooster sauce
Brown sugar
Truvia
Sesame seeds

1Lb cubed sirloin or very lean meat (galbi is usually made with rib eye, but I like less fat)
1 thinly sliced onion

Pour marinade over meat and marinate for at least 30 minutes (the longer the better). Add 1 tbsp of oil to a cold pan, and raise the heat to high. Once pan is hot add beef with as little marinade as possible. Cook on high until the marinade that did go in the pan gets syrupy.
